    Electrical point detector with rigid tip and optical display. The senstivity can be adjusted in several steps according to the skin resistance. A new calibration procedure is required for each search area.

    The point finder is placed with one hand on the search area. Its sensitivity is preset as a function of the skin restistance by rotating the pin head from level 0 to 9. The connection is made via the doctor's hand while the the free other hand touches the skin of the animal. The area has to be searched until the diode is permanently lit when the acupuncture point is touched. The localization is more accurate if the sensitivity is reduced.
