    The medical tuning fork 440 Hz is used mainly in the ENT field. It generates the pitch A1 (440Hz) and is used to examine the air and the bone conduction of sound. Among others, the Rinne-Weber test and the Gelle test can be performed with this model.

    Application:
    In otosclerosis diagnosis, the tuning fork provides 440 Hz to test the mobility of the ossicles (Gellé experiment). In Otorhinolaryngology the suitable tuning fork is used to test the hearing (Rinne Weber test) which is the standrd test ifor the investigation of hearing loss.
