    Electrical point detector with rigid tip, optical and acoustic indicator. It functions by measuring the skin resistance. No calibration is required for each patient. Made by Silberbauer in Austria.

    The pen tip is applied close to the acupuncture point and perpendicular to the skin surface. There is no need for a sensitivity adjustment of the probe. The area is scanned without removing the probe from the skin. The search direction is indicated by increasing or decreasing blinking and the sound frequency. Even on dry or sweaty skin acupuncture points are located reliably.
